The project consists of the re-organisation and refurbishment of internal spaces within the MH and MX buildings together with consequent building services alterations and infrastructure changes. The reorganisation involves the removal and installation of lightweight partitioning with subsequent wall, floor and ceiling decoration.
Works to the MH Building involve the provision of 6Nr Deanery Offices to the first floor, insertion of windows in external cladding to store rooms and remodelling of the ground floor skills area.
Works to the MX Building involves the reconfiguration of the existing Student Transnational and Research Office (STaR), removal of the existing teaching pods to the first floor to provide social learning space complete with additional furniture and ICT, creation of an experimental teaching space to be specified by COLT.
