The proposed Works comprised the refurbishment of an existing retail space within the Roche Group. The Design itself was done through the Paris office.
Works involved liaising and programming with Principal Designer in Paris, This was a live project as staff working elsewhere in the building and was constructed in 3 phases to ensure trading was still possible. Each area required a detailed element of planning and co-ordination between trades due to restricted access and noise pollution risk
Success of delivery
The occupied retail premises was a particularly challenging project, the works had to be planned and phased to suit the requirements of the client. Phasing of the 9 week programme required detailed up-front planning and careful co-ordination with end users to maintain the operation of the store.
Interclass met all the phasing requirements and, through discussion and agreement with the client, Interclass managed to handover some areas early, by adapting the phasing plan.
Roche Bobois is set within an established residential and commercial area, requiring regular liaison with neighbouring properties and adaption of our delivery times, to minimise impact on the local community.
Quieter periods have been exploited to enable, service switch-overs, internal alterations, knock-through, leaving the day to day activities undisturbed.
Our site team have built up a strong rapport with the Client’s team and end-users, which has led onto further secured works for Roche at Harrods and Finchley Road.
Interclass also maintained live existing services once located, these were protected to avoid accidental damage and work areas isolated during construction. Alteration to existing services were programmed for quite periods or carried out outside of normal working hours.
Duration: 9 Week
