Project Description: Construction of a 726 sq.m. Two storey, 6Nr classroom block with associated breakout and nurture spaces and toilet accommodation.

A timber framed, SIPS structure, with brick cladding and Rigidal steel cladding panel roof. Naturally ventilated with Velfac composite aluminium/wood windows and louvres.

Associated mechanical & electrical installations incorporated LED lighting with daylight sensors, warm air heating and a BMS system linked to Worcestershire County Council’s remote control and monitoring system. New data systems included the latest teaching wall technology.

A new link block to the existing school was formed, requiring removal of asbestos, demolition and internal alterations.

External works include new foul and storm drainage, connected to the public sewer in the highway drainage. New car park spaces were provided, along with new playground spaces, access ramps and circulation paths.
